2D Platformer
A simple 2D platformer with a single level, created in about 3 hours to learn the basics of the Godot engine. At the time, I had no background in programming or game development in general.
Through this small project, I got familiar with core concepts like scription, player movement, collisions, camera setup, UI elements, and how to export a working game. It also gave me a first glimpse into structuring scenes and using Godot’s node system.
More than anything, it helped me understand how the different pieces of a game fit together, even in the simplest form. It was a useful first step into a world I knew nothing about.
